Will Gray: UK & Midlands Magician - Lecture

Will Gray is one of the leading magicians in the UK. He is a Magic Circle Member, AIMC with Silver Star and attendee of the FFFF's convention in New York. He's a regular on the competition circuit and has awards coming out of his ears (now thats a trick).

Magic with a capital E (where E stands for Entertainment) is a lecture which focuses on entertaining in real life working environments where the E bit is just as important as the clever stuff.

The lecture includes a mix of Cards, Coins, Kids Magic, Mentalism and Comedy. There really is something for every member of your club.

When Will Gray came to lecture to the British Magical Society here in Birmingham last September, he showed the side of close-up magic as performed in the real world - that is the corporate field. But that is what he does so well entertaining high flying executives of such big conglomerates as HSBC, Land Rover, Volkswagon and Volvo. He is part of the exclusive team that entertains in the hospitality rooms at Manchester United Football Club when the team is playing at home.

Hailing from Leicestershire, he first got intrested in magic when he was just seven years old. Since that time he has gradually increased his knowledge and technical skills, so that today he is one of our leading close-up entertainers, so much so that this year he was invited by Obie O'Brien to the exclusive FFFF convention in Batavia, New York.

It was an enthusiastic crowd which gathered at the BMS that evening to see what makes for popular commercial magic. Here we saw such effects as Coins Across, Jumbo Coin Production, the Omni Deck, a Goldfish production in conjuction with the Phil Deck, and much more, all performed with a certain twist that made them so entertaining. He was given a long ovation at the end.
